The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
